This graph shows the average problem rates, by manufacturer, for newly designed 2000 through 2002 models for which we have data. Some automakers have fewer problems with newly designed models--and lower problem rates overall--than others. Manufacturers are ranked from fewest to most problems per 100 vehicles for the first model year.

concluzii:

1) producatorul care o nimereste cel mai bine din prima este Honda.

2) daca vreti model nou singurele pe care va puteti baza sunt masinile Honda.

Qvot erat demonstrandum.

F1, fii si tu dragut si ascunde si tu linkul ala imens ca forteaza latimea ecranului (si eu am rezolutie maricica, ma gandec cu groaza la rezolutii mai mici smile.gif )

Ce e cu Audi, Mini si Kia? In anul 3 nu mai au probleme deloc? smile.gif

Revenind la discutia cu 'employee discounts' si cu 'dealer vs producator', daca media este in jur de 1000 (sa zicem) tot e mai rentabil decat orice producator, pentru ca dealerul are mult mai putine batai de cap decat producatorul smile.gif

Si Opel nu are employee discounts in UE (RO). Si nici Daewoo / Chevrolet nu cred sa aiba, am fi auzit smile.gif

Mini, Audi si Kia nu au avut modele noi in USA in 2001 cand au inceput acest studiu. citeste textul din link.

Io bag mana in foc ca dealerul are peste 15-20% profit, adica mai mult decat recormanul in materie de producator Nissan. Daca pretul poate scadea cu 10-15% doar prin vanzarea masinii de catre lanturile de supermarketuri si nu doar prin dealerii specializati, atunci sigur marja dealerului este de peste 15-20%, intrucat nici supermarketurile nu fac probabil munca voluntara.... Nu e o teorie riguroasa, recunosc, ci doar o parere personala.

n-am nimik cu japonezii dar voi credeti in tabele din astea?, generatia de consum...., respectati standardurile?.. sa fiti sanatosi, nu m-as mira sa fie unul comandat sau facut obiectiv, de vazut ca nu se specifica la ce modele anume si nici ce probleme, e facut asa cum se face, tipic american.
O sa caut si eu unul in care galbejitii sunt in coada listei.

De unde faceti rost de date pentru piata europeana? Cu google apar numai siteuri americane.... europenii fac studii serioase de fiabilitate, sau le e jena?

In plus, unele din date sunt oarecum bizare. De exemplu, conform msn

era prea evident ca sa le vad...

datele sunt interesante si clar din alta perspectiva ( cea a celor care fac reparatiile). cred ca modul lor de atrange datele pune accentul mai ales pe problemele serioase ( cele pt. care diverse ateliere ar cere ajutor specializat). pe de alta parte e posibil sa subestimeze frecventa ( daca sunt multe masini cu acelasi defecte care vin la acelasi atelier mecanicii nu vor mai cere ajutor odata ce au reparat problema respectiva de cateva ori cu ajutorul IDENTIFIX)...

la compacte si medii dupa datele lor mi se pare ca problemele sunt putine oricum si relativ minore la toate. sunt si diferente de ordine fata de CR si JDPower.

oricum se merita verificat site-ul si pt. modelele comune cu cele europene mai ales la motorizari similare ( ex. 1.8T, 2.0 8V al VAG, 1.9TDI, etc....).

Reliability is an important concern for the new-car buyer, but a difficult quality to discern. CR's annual reliability surveys can help. Our latest survey, conducted in the spring of 2004, yielded information on 810,000 vehicles spanning the 1997 to 2004 model years. By looking at these data for past model years, we can predict how current models are likely to hold up.

To create the scores shown here, we average the overall reliability scores for the last three years, where available, provided the vehicle didn't change significantly in that time and hasn't for 2004. We've found that three years' data is a better predictor than is the single most recent model year.

Each car's overall score is calculated for its 2002, 2003, and 2004 versions. It's also weighted to emphasize more serious problem areas, including the engine, transmission, cooling system, and drive system. This overall score is then compared with the average for all the 2002, 2003, and 2004 cars in the survey. The charts reflect how the car compared with that all-car average.

da, si toate au scoruri mult peste medie ( >30% fata de media masinilor vandute in america intre 2001 si 2004)...

Subaru este si marca cu cea mai buna fiabilitate in acelasi studiu pentru masini de pana la 1 an vechime... urmata de Honda.

pentru masini pana la 3 ani ordinea e Toyota-Lexus-Scion, Subaru si Honda-Acura.
