Vanzarile auto cresc proportional cu scaderea grosimii stratului de ozon...

Am vazut acum niste imagini transmise de cosmonautii americani cu stratul de ozon (in timp ce afara este o furtuna de o violenta cumplita) si este foarte posibil ca in curand sa nu mai putem savura clasamente cu nustu ce rahaturi de produse care polueaza in ultimul hal...

Recordul de profitabilitate, 1800USD pe vehicul. Hotii de dealeri castiga mult mai mult! Daca vor sa scada din preturi, acolo trebuie sa umble...

nu e f. clar. GM avea si alte discounturi care se adaugau. oricum acestea sunt in medie 2000$ pe masina dar unele au 0 (ex. Corvette, Cadillas STS) in timp ce la altele ajung si la 4000$.

au bagat GM cumva chestia asta si in Europa? ( adica la Opel-Vauxhall sau Chevrolet-Daewoo)

What on earth are you doing with all those pick-up trucks ??? Stiam ca sunt populare in US dar nici chiar asa... C'mon... si romanii sunt amatori de SUV-uri imense... dar nu si-ar lua un pick-up decat asumandu-si riscul ca vor raspunde la porecle de genu: fermieru', taranu', papucu', etc... biggrin.gif

pai, aici a fi fermier, sau a te da fermier ( vezi chiar Gica Bush si tata-sau) e un titlu de noblete. daca ai vazut cand dau imagini cu Bush la ferma lui din Texas, vei vedea ca umbla tot intr-un pick-up truck.

pentru multi americani si poate proportional si mai multi canadieni ( pt. ca acolo o proportie mai mare a populatiei locuieste in zone relativ putin populate si cu clima aspra) truck-ul e o necesitate, pentru altii ( impresia mea e ca in USA asta e majoritatea) e doar un obiect prin care te dai "macho" ca si ciocatele, palariile de cowboy, motocicletele Harley-Davidson, s.a.

chiar ma gandeam ca daca imi fac casa nu mi-ar strica sa-mi iau unul SH, asa sa fie la casa omului pentru carat pamant de flori, acareturi, pentru mers prin zapada iarna... ya' never know when ya' need it. dar cum nu mi-am pierdut inca totalmente bunul simt european ma gandesc la ceva din categoria mica ( in nici un caz la cele 4 matahale care sparg statisticile de vanzari americane).

de remarcat ca la canadieni in topul celor mai populare modele lipsesc cu desavarsire SUV-urile, si ca minivanurile ( Dodg Carvan, Chevy Uplander) le inlocuiesc. asta ma face sa apreciez si mai mult Canada, care si asa imi este cea mai simpatica societate.

mai citisem intr-un link ca "young males" cumpara pick-upuri... i don't know how they can get away with that... ma rog... nu asta ma deranjeaza pe mine cel mai tare la pick-upuri... ci faptul ca ai un spatiu echivalent cu un 206 pe care nu il poti folosi decat extrem de rar (daca te muti sunt convins ca nu vei transporta televizorul, calculatorul si setul de portelan in pick-up, in general nu poti transporta nimic ce are circuite electrice decat daca ai vorbit cu statia meteo ca nu te prinde ploaia pe drum, nu poti transporta oameni (i guess it's illegal too), nu poti transporta animale (cainii mei probabil ar sari din orice pick-up), nu prea poti sa faci cumparaturile si in general nu prea iti vine sa pui nici un obiect la care tii in spatele unui pick-up). Daca tot trebuie sa fie "BIG" prefer la orice ora un SUV, fie el mic (adica european) sau imens (adica american), dar in care e mai mult spatiu interior decat intr-un pick-up, si la o adica iti poti cumpara o remorca (pt cele 2 ocazii in care vei avea intradevar nevoie de remorca neacoperita... desigur la fel de bine ai putea inchiria unul).

poti transporta orice... au acoperitoare de plastic care inchide etans bena pt. chestii chiar relativ voluminoase. sunt si niste cutii cu geam ca sa inchizi bena complet pana la nivelul acoperisului cabinei si chiar putin mai inalte... si poti pune la urma urmei si o prelata peste cutia televizorului...

pentru carat si chiar pentru off-road usor sunt extrem de utile. nu iau ele curbe in ac de par dar pentru carat sunt super.

ei, in europa treaba nu-i la fel...
"Harris Interactive a realizat un nou sondaj pentru a reliefa modul in care consumatorii percep imaginea de marca, in cazul unui numar de 21 de brand-uri de automobile, in Marea Britanie, Franta, Germania, Italia si Spania.

Consumatorii considera drept cele mai bune masini, luand in calcul caracteristicile generale si imaginea de marca (brand quality):

1.Mercedes-Benz
2.BMW
3.Audi
4.Volvo (singura marca non-germana)
5.Volkswagen

In numai doua piete din cele cinci mentionate se strecoara si automobile asiatice, respectiv Lexus (locul 3 in Marea Britanie) si Toyota (locul 5 in Italia), in preferintele consumatorilor la capitolul "brand quality"."

Daca inteleg eu bine: GM produce de aproape 3 ori mai multe masini decat Toyota si are un profit de vre-o 10 ori mai mic...
Mhmm.... Nu am facut eu multa economie dar exista cateva variante:
1. GM produce multe masini pe care nu le vinde (ramane cu ele pe cap) - nu stiu cum e politica GM dar eu dupa un audi ar trebui sa astept vre-o 3 luni... si in general optionalele se monteaza in fabrica... deci lucreaza la comanda...

2. GM foloseste materiale scumpe, forta de munca scumpa, tehnologie de ultima ora si din bun simt nu adauga nimic la pretul masinilor...

3. Toyota vinde masinile foarte scump comparativ cu pretul de productie

4. GM investeste tot profitul... in ceva... si el nu mai apare ca profit...

Mai exista o posibilitate: GM are eficienta slaba in comparatie cu Toyota.

productia GM include si cea a subsidiarilor ( GM Daewoo, Suzuki, Subaru, celelate marci sunt proprietate 100% a GM) in timp ce in rezultatele financiare se cuprind numai partial ( numai dividendele de la cele 10-20% actiuni la Suzuki si Subaru si aprox. 45% la Daewoo). totusi nu este decat de 2 ori mai mare decat a Toyota ( nr. de pe coloana din dreapta este numarul de marci al aliantei si nu nr. de masini vandute care se deduce din lungimea barelor).

GM lucreaza cu profit f. mic pentru ca nu poate vinde masinile pe mai multi bani decat le vinde. In USA din 2001 ofera reduceri peste reduceri pt. a fi in stare sa "move the iron off the lots". de cate ori au scazut sau eliminat reducerile vanzarile s-au prabusit si stocurile au crescut rapid. de fiecare data au fost nevoiti sa reintroduca reducerile ca sa-si faca produsele atractive. E dificil pt. ei sa scada productia pt. ca trebuie sa plateasca lucratorii pe care nu-i poate concedia din cauza acordurilor cu sindicatele... In Europa, Opel a fost ani la rand in pierdere, abia anul asta vor scoate un mic profit.

Toyota este un model de eficienta si masinile sale se vand cu profit bunicel...
