Primele poze la liber pt. presa de la salonul auto Paris, cu motorul diesel.











Si aici mai jos un comentariu al domnului Ikeda.

"As announced at the Geneva Motor Show last year, we are enhancing our Subaru boxer engine lineup, and I’m pleased to announce that the development of the world’s first horizontally opposed diesel engine, the Subaru Boxer Turbo Diesel is nearly complete.

The superb rotational balance of the horizontally-opposed engine allows low vibration because the pistons counteract each other to cancel it out. Moreover, with its firmly supported crankshaft, the crankcase construction is strong enough to resist huge combustion pressure. The horizontally-opposed engine’s character is proving an excellent match for a diesel engine.

Also, the adoption of a thin journal for the crankshaft and turbo charger placed under the cylinder block enhances all the advantages of the Boxer Engine, which are “Low center of gravity” ”Low vibration” ”High rigidity & compactness” This delivers diesel’s powerful torque from the engine to the wheels, and increases traction, making the Subaru Boxer Turbo Diesel yet another achievement of Subaru’s advanced technology.

Last but not least, the Subaru Boxer Turbo Diesel boasts lower CO2 emissions in consideration of the environment.

I anticipate unveiling the Subaru Boxer Turbo Diesel engine next year at Geneva Motor Show."

2 chestii se pot spune la prima vedere:

- mai mult ca sigur va fi ceva deosebit din cauza modului de dispunere a pistoanelor

- subaru va face un pas imens pe piata europeana si nu numai.

designul pistoanelor este deosebit !

ce pot observa eu ...

- trepidatiile tipice motoarelor diesel vor fi aproape absente .
- intercooler mare ... turbo dispus ca la motoarele turbo pe benzina de la subaru
- intr-adevar arborele cotit daca este mai robust va putea sustine presiuni foarte mari


ce stiu , cilindreea va fi mare , undeva intre 2 si 3 l .

Eu nu vad nimic deosebit la designul pistoanelor, e doar un motor boxer.
Oricum s-au desteptat si astia de la subaru ca sa le creasca vinzarile in Europa.

Da dar ste un boxer diesel smile.gif....singurul cred. Cat despre diesel...eu cred ca intrecut de mult benzina si este o chestied de timp pana va cuceri si america - canada smile.gif

In ceea ce ma priveste urmatorul motor va fi clar diesel...practic nu mai are rost sa cumpar benzina smile.gif

avantajul major la boxer este ca poti pune din start 2 turbine. si mai ramine loc si de intercooler. toate aste la aproape jumatate din bugetul modificarii unui motor in linie.
e posibil sa reduca simtitor vibratiile si sa creasca si rpm-ul maxim cu 10-15%.

plus ca , motorul boxter imbunatatzeste centrul de greutate ... si impreuna cu awd va avea niste performante f bune de circuit zic eu :angel:

4 cilindri, probabil undeva pe la 2000 -2400 cmc max. Sa se bata cu Honda si Toyota de 2200.

asta in 4 da , cam atat va avea , dar se poate sa lanseze si o versiune in 6 , undeva la 3.0 l ...

@otto : uita-te cum arata capatul pistoanelor , crede-ma ca nu asa arata la restul gamei subaru benzinara .

va fi un motor de 2.0 - 150cp si 350nm cu emisii de 150g/km.

LE : va fi monat pe legacy si va veni in romania prin februarie 2008

Timpul ala va fi foarte lung biggrin.gif. Din contra se pare ca dieselul nu prea are sanse sa tina pasul cu normele de poluare si viteza cu care evolueaza ele.

Din cate am auzit de la un oficial Subaru Romania, motorul este de 2.0, dar are 175 de cai si 365 nm. Este in teste la Subaru de 5 ani si va fi implementat in Europa pe Lagacy, iar apoi si pe Forester.

La dieselurile de generatie mai recenta vibratiile sunt cea mai mica problema, practic nu le simti... problema ramane zgomotul la relanti, care e unul de tractoras, si sincer nu cred ca aceasta problema va putea fi eliminata de un motor boxer.

Oricum va fi un mare pas pentru subaru europa sa introduca un diesel.
