Mersul la consum nu e neaparat cea mai economica solutie
Sa spunem ca ai de facut 1500km. Daca mergi in medie cu 120 si consumi sa spunem 6/100km, ii faci intr-o zi. Daca mergi cu 90 si consumi 4.5/100km, fie iei o noapte la hotel si te costa in plus camera (asta e ideea buna) fie mergi pana iti cad ochii in gura si s-ar putea sa te coste in plus reparatul masinii si indreptatul oaselor (asta e ideea proasta) -------------------- Scuter 108cc... benzina, automat

DAR viteza optima de rulat pe autostrada la vietaz constanta, indiferent daca ai tren, TIR, Ferrari sau Opel Astra este de 90 kph. Citeste, studiaza, aprofundeaza documentul atasat. Este un document profesional realizat de firma Cummins dar ce spun ei acolo este tot la fel de valabil pt. camioane cit si pt. masini. Viteza si rezistenta la inaintare (prin frecarea cu aerul) creste approximativ liniar doar pina la 90kph (55 mph). Daca nu ma insel, dupa aceea, curba este descrisa cel mai bine de "quadratic function" (cum se traduce asta in romaneste ?) - adica dublezi viteza --> drag (adica rezistenta la inaintare prin aer) creste de 4 ori. Valoarea aceasta este determinata de legicle fizicii...nu conteaza ce masina ai. QUOTE Rock-Solid Rules

Worn tires provide up to 7% better fuel economy than new tires. Used lug drive tires can get up to 0.4 MPG better fuel economy than new lug tires. Ribbed tires on the drive axles provide 2–4% better fuel economy than lugged tires. Every 10 psi that a truck’s tires are underinflated reduces fuel economy by 1%. The break-in period for tires is between 35,000 and 50,000 miles. Tires make biggest difference in MPG below 50 mph; aerodynamics is the most important factor over 50 mph. The most efficient drivers get about 30% better fuel economy than the least efficient drivers. Idle time is costly. Every hour of idle time in a long-haul operation can decrease fuel economy by 1% because you’re burning fuel and not moving.
