STI / WRX - ma bate gindul - realitate



Acum, ma bate gindul si pe mine sa imi schimb JDM Spaceship-ul care ma serveste de aproape 9 ani cu un STI, ca sa nu mai incep sa modific la un Legacy (chit ca a iesit bine pt. deceniul trecut, cu turbo de Mitsu EVO si diferentiale de STI si alte prostii). Dar am ajuns la virsta cind dau mai multi bani si modifcc mai putin.

Problema este ca acest STI nu arata ca conceptul WRX introdus acum un an:



si care in mod ne-surprinzator, arata ca conceptul Legacy prezentat azi la Los Angeles. Cu alte cuvinte, noul STI arata tot banal, iar acest concept este super sexy.

Penis size interacts with body shape and height to influence male attractiveness

Compelling evidence from many animal taxa indicates that male genitalia are often under postcopulatory sexual selection for characteristics that increase a male’s relative fertilization success. There could, however, also be direct precopulatory female mate choice based on male genital traits. Before clothing, the nonretractable human penis would have been conspicuous to potential mates. This observation has generated suggestions that human penis size partly evolved because of female choice. Here we show, based upon female assessment of digitally projected life-size, computer-generated images, that penis size interacts with body shape and height to determine male sexual attractiveness. Positive linear selection was detected for penis size, but the marginal increase in attractiveness eventually declined with greater penis size (i.e., quadratic selection). Penis size had a stronger effect on attractiveness in taller men than in shorter men. There was a similar increase in the positive effect of penis size on attractiveness with a more masculine body shape (i.e., greater shoulder-to-hip ratio). Surprisingly, larger penis size and greater height had almost equivalent positive effects on male attractiveness. Our results support the hypothesis that female mate choice could have driven the evolution of larger penises in humans. More broadly, our results show that precopulatory sexual selection can play a role in the evolution of genital traits.

Din pacate nu au studiat si relatia intre capacitatea craniala precum sin intre IQ si lungimea penisului - sint convins ca sint relatii invers proportionale. Precum si influenta capacitatii craniene, respectiv a IQ-ului, asupra coeficientului de atractie. Consider necesar un stidiu aprofundat care sa elucideze pentru totdeauna misterul.

Ca acum cred ca e si asta cunoscut: toate fetele vor un gagiu bine inalt, frumos si cu scula de 10 inch. Dar dupa ce il fu...garesc un pic, tot dupa ala probabil mai putin dotat la lungime dar cu creier de doctor chirurg si bani de avocat cu doctoratul in drept se vor duce.

Adevarul nu ar trebui sa surprinda pe nimeni. In Statele Unite nu doar Hyundai - KIA au fost gasite cu metode creative in priviinta consumului ci si Toyota (Prius). Doar ca in USA Agentia de Protectia Mediului testeaza toate masinile iar numerele oficiale sint cele publicate de ei - si in general sint mult mai mici decit cele precizate de producatori pe pagina de web etc. Pentru 2008 Agentia de Protectia Mediului a reviziut testul si acum cifrele sint mult mai aproape de realitate.

NOTA PERSONALA
Subaru meu cind l-am cumparat scotea oficial 25 mpg pe autostrada. Nu a scos niciodata 25 mpg. A scos 27 mpg ne-molestata iar dupa m-am apucat de prostii cu ea, a ajuns spre 31-33. Cu timpul (mai ales cu noul turbo) a scazut la un 30-31 insa cifrele oficiale actuale indica 23 mpg pe autostrada. Chiar cu 1 mpg mai prost ca Jeep-ul proaspat cumparat (care este o masina cu un CoD = 0.37 comparat cu 0.29 la Subaru)iar Jeep-ul cintareste cu cca 800 kg in plus. Mai punem la socoteala faptil ca Jeep-ul poate folosi benzina regular pe cind Subaru are nevoie de premium si mai ca as zice ca...pretul de operare in $/mila condusa va fi similar sau poate chiar mai mic la Jeep. And on this bombshell - I bought an SUV to save money !
