Audi 80 Quatro din anii 1990 - 1993
Am nevoie de urmatoarele informatii:
1) cat e de Quatro adica trag toate 4 simultan sau fata si cand fata nu mai are aderenta va "ajuta" si spatele
2) ce motorizare se gaseste pe varianta asta numai pe benzina (ma intereseaza daca are 1.8i S Quatro)

PS: Imi caut masina de familie si vreau numai AUDI 80!!

sistemul "Quatro" este de fapt "quattro" (este marca inregistrata exact exact asa cum am scris adica cu litere mici)...

Quattro is a permanent all wheel drive system used on Audi brand automobiles. Quattro was first introduced in 1980 on the Audi Quattro and has since been deployed to most of the models that Audi sells.

In the original quattro system, where the engine and transmission are situated in a longitudinal position, power is sent from the transmission to a mechanical center differential which splits it between the front and rear axles. After 1987, the inclusion of a Torsen (torque-sensing) center differential, instead of a manually-locking one, allowed engine power to be redirected to individual axles as driving conditions warranted. Under ideal conditions power is split 50/50 front to rear. The 50/50 split helps prevent wheel slip from starting, which is better than systems that can only react after wheel slip starts. In extreme cases, a maximum of 66-80% of the engine's power can be directed to a single axle. The power split between left and right wheels has progressed through open, lockable and eventually limited slip differentials with electronic control.

In some recent Audi models using a transverse engine and transmission positioning, power is sent primarily to the front axle and the vehicle does not use a permanent all wheel drive system. An electrohydraulic center Haldex limited slip coupler, however, may divert up to 100% of the power to the rear axle as conditions warrant. The power split between left and right wheels is achieved through limited slip differentials with electronic control. This system is also available in most Volkswagen vehicles under the name 4motion, excluding the B5 Passat which uses the above Torsen-based system.

quattro este un sistem mecanic (vorbim de audi 80) si nu unul electronic cum sunt pe majoritatea modelelor noi gen skoda octavia 4x4, vw passat 4motion, etc. tractiunea este permanenta pe cele 4 roti

eu am un audi 80 din 91 - nu e quattro - (motorizarea originala este cea 1.8s) pe care l-am "incaltat" cu un motor turbo diesel de vw golf2 (este unul dintre cele mai bune motoare diesel care a trecut testul timpului - foarte fiabil si simplu) iar consumul este de 5 litrii de motorina in oras. este o masina foarte comoda si mai spatioasa ca un audi a4, spre exemplu. un prieten are un 80 quattro din 94 cu motor de 2 litrii. super masina dar consuma foarte mult. (15/16 in oras).

este o excelenta masina de familie (in spate am montat un scaun pentru baiatul meu de 1 an si 3 luni).
foarte important este ca Audi 80 a fost prevazut cu o caroserie complet zincata cu o garantie de 10 ani impotriva coroziunii. Cu un Cx de 0,29, noul Audi 80 a demonstrat si el valori aerodinamice de varf.
