Full Version: Saab 9-4x - noul crossover post-Subaru

TROLLHATTAN, Sweden — Saab is working on a new, smaller SUV-wagon instead of the Subaru Tribeca-based 9-6X crossover, which was canceled in the wake of General Motors' pullout from a Subaru alliance.

Noul crossover se va numi 9-4X si va fi pozitionat intre modelele 9-3 si 9-5. Este conceput tot pe platforma GM Sigma pe care se fac modelele europene de Cadillac in uzinele Saab din Suedia, ca si BRX sport-utility si BLS sedan.

Piata target: Europa

Va fi lansat probabil in martie 2006 la Geneva, impreuna cu:

Side note: Dupa cum se stie, GM si-a vandut pachetul minoritar (20%) din Subaru luna trecuta. L-a cumparat Toyota, by the way. What this means to you, Saab fan: The "Saabaru" concept just wasn't convincing — most Saab fans hated the idea. Let's hope this new approach will make cars that are closer to Saab's heritage. wink.gif

Desi nu cu foarte mult timp in urma GM a scos din "priza" saab in favoarea opel, se vede ca totusi nu au renuntat la ideea revitalizarii acestei marci. Probabil ca cifrele de vanzari, mai ales in america, au fost remarcabile. 4 milioane de saab-uri au fost vandute din 1949 pana in 2005, din care 200000 numai decapotabile. Saab a produs si vandut cele mai multe decapotabile din lume, numai in america fiind prezente cca 45% dintre ele. Asteptam cu interes si noul showroom al celor de la augusta...
