am deschis acest topic pt a schimba impresii, pareri si sugestii cu privire la muzica rock....

sincer, ce pot sa spun despre mine e ca, spre rusinea mea, pana acum ceva vreme, credeam ca tot ce reprezinta curentul rock s-a oprit undeva la nivelul anilor 90... dar, de cateva luni, am descoperit o groaza de trupe noi, cel putin pentru mine, care canta fabulos de bine...bineinteles, ma refer la coldplay, reamonn, travis, radiohead, portishead, samd....

un alt motiv al deschiderii acestui topic este si acela de a "capata" sugestii din partea fanilor curentului, cu privire la muzica actuala, cu care eu ma simt depasit (neupdatat in fine )...

Ca U2 au luat un milion de premii e un argument poate ca e o trupa cu inclinatii catre comercial, nu neaparat un argument obiectiv al valorii intrinsece. Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath si Led Zeppelin n-au avut o critica atat de buna ca Beatles in epoca, insa iata ca, peste 30-40 de ani, cam toata lumea accepta ideea ca Beatles sunt departe de ele ca valoare (tradusa in principal in influenta si mostenire muzicala). Sigur ca Robert Plant nu genera isterie in randul publicului feminin. Ca sa nu mai vorbim de Syd Barrett

Mie imi place U2 la acelasi mod ca si Beatles, au vreo 10-20 de piese bune si cateva exceptionale. Dar atat.

Iar ca recomandare de album de ascultat in masina (la dispozitie dinamica, that is) - Iggy Pop, "Lust for life"/1977.

Or fi fost premiati numai ca nu ma intereseaza. Asta nu inseamna ca trebuie sa imi placa mie.
Muzica lor nu-mi inspira nimic si din punctul meu de vedere sunt una din trupele care pot defini cat mai corect termenul "galagie".
Altii sunt cu adevarati mari, nicidecum U2.
Eu cred ca tu confunzi popularitatea cu calitatea. Una este sa fii banal dar popular si alta este sa produci ceva durabil in timp si de care sa nu te plictisesti.
deci U2 nu sunt un BMW ci poate Toyota....

La sfarsitul clipului zice ceva de genul "filmed in Socialist Republic of Romanistan" sau ceva asemanator

Gasesti pe torrente clipuri cu Muse la greu. Toate sunt cel putin interesante

@Adi: da, trupa exista pe bune, este un mare nume in lumea rock. Si vinde bine muzica. Exista in lumea asta mult mai multi oameni inteligenti decat ne-am putea noi inchipui. Niciodata n-as fi crezut ca Muse va prinde asa bine.

Nici U2 nu sunt stilul meu dar mai ascult si respect ceeea ce au facut si fac. Si mie mi se par cam "comerciali". dar oricum daca sunt vanduti nu inseamna ca sunt si slabi sau comerciali, cum nici daca faptul ca nu sunt cunoscuti, nu inseamna ca sunt slabi.
Sper ca ati inteles ceva.

Inseamna ca ne gasim pe acolo, si eu l-am arvunit, ca nu se rateaza asa ceva. La precedentul (4 iunie 2005, daca imi aduc aminte bine) nu am putut merge, i-a trebuit insuratoare drept atunci unui prieten bun :minigun: . Cica a fost super tare showul, prestatia live a baietilor e recunoscuta cvasiunanim drept una care nu trebuie ratata. La final au cantat cateva preluari metalice (Black Sabbath si Motorhead, si nu e usor lucru sa treci de la Ozzy la Lemmy :angel: ). Sa vedem de data asta cum o fi cu classical-ul asta. Eu cred ca o sa iasa super misto.
