Nu de alta, dar experienta voastra poate fi utila miilor de vizitatori ai forumului masini.ro

Deci daca comparatia asta aduce a Subaru vs. BMW...sa stiti ca nu e intimplatoare. Eu asa vad problema...cuplu mare pe o plaja larga de turatii dupa ce intra turbo in actiune. Cred ca experienta lui Air_Wolf nu este chiar reprezentativa pentru industrie. Cind te gindesti la Asiatice...te gindesti la Supra, STi, Skyline, NSX, EVO care sint masini turbo cu caracteristicile prezentate de mine. Eu zic ca sint reprezentative in mai multe puncte de vedere, nu doar in domeniul auto. Asta nu inseamna ca nu sint masini cu cuplu si performante ridicate numai la turatii inalte gen S2000, Lexus GS, Acura TL, Infinity G35...dar imi mentin parerea ca daca in primul rind lumea se gindeste la masini japoneze turbo...vor intilni in viata exemplare fine si rafinate care intrunesc mai mult caracteristicile clasei turbo si AWD ca sa fim mai clari. Io de mic copil am asociat japonezele cu motoare de turatie... honda fiind in viziunea mea pricipalul exponent al industriei auto japoneze (toyota s-a cam europenizat, majoritatea celorlalte marci asiatice au trecut in mana "fetelor palide" asa ca pentru mine "masina japoneza" rimeaza cel mai bine cu Honda, ce-i drept dupa ultimii doi ani de forumeala pe masini.ro am inceput sa asociez putin si cu subaru... desi sincer inca nu am vazut nici un subaru cu numere de bihor... deci implicit nu prea le vad pe strazi). Si cred ca nu gresesc daca spun ca cel putin in viziunea noastra a europenilor "masina japoneza" inseamna motor mic cu turatii inalte la fel cum "masina americana" inseamna multi cmc cu putini cp, ca nu sunt toate la fel asta e alta poveste, dar primul gand la asta te duce. Iar daca e vorba de putere pe toata plaja de turatii... cred ca europa e fruntasa, ca doar noi avem 50% diesel... plus niste benzinare turbo.

Pai nu eram off-topic... era vorba de sex in masina cu fete nemtzoaice versus fete asiatice... tu ai sustinut ca senzatiile tari vin pe toata plaja de turatii (ca la un STI) pe cand air_wolf le asemana cu un S2000, unde senzatiile tari incep abia la turatii ridicate... puneti-va de acord... cu ce turatii trebuie "conduse" japonezele ?

"I was provided the opportunity in Spring 2005 to race for Asia Tech from the beginning of that season. Asia Tech provided me with a gorgeous, beautiful, sexy car, very reliable, with excelent bhp and torque in the entire range, superb handling, incredible agility, smoothness and very intelligent - the top end technological marvel and beauty available in motorsports. We started the season well, the car and the driver made a superb combination on the circuits in the first part of the season. As the championship season progressed, naturally there were races where we didn't perform as well, yet always came across first, winners: the car and the driver - a superb combination which set out to achieve total domination of the sport. Certainly we started the season on a race-by-race performance but we discovered we work so well together and naturally we began a partnership. In the latter part of the season, during the fly-away races, there were some hard times: the car did not follow the expected progress requested by the driver and the management at Asia Tech refused to implement some of the suggested changes - sometimes blaming the driver and suggesting he adjusted his own driving style to fit the car better. Nevertheless, we took the 2005 drivers' and constructor's crown after dominating much of the season. Towards the end of the 2005 season, the management at Asia Tech approached me in subtle ways hinting at an extended contract between its star driver and the team. Much like Formula One, there was to be a freeze on further engine development, and the driver would keep using the same equipment for long long time into the future. It is easy to look back at Formula One and see Michael Schumacher's love for Team Ferrari. I was in love with the team and the team loved its driver but just like Michael Schumacher...I did not want to be pressured into signing a contract - in case of Michael 2 years - ...in my case...way way longer. Afterall, Ayrton Senna drove for McLaren in 1992 and 1993 on a race by race basis... I was going to try to win at least another championship before committing my racing career to Team Asia Tech. The management at Asia Tech interpreted this slight hesitation in the worst possible ways, questioned my motives and after some intense discussions we decided to part ways towards the middle of the second season. It was a move that surprised the racing world, fans and foes alike. Some said it was expected...most people did their best to bring us back to the negotiations table. In the end...it did not work. As I later found out, it is customary for young teams like Asia Tech to quickly - within a year or so - sign a star driver and hold him into a contract for the rest of his racing career. It is their way of establishing in motorsports. It was unfortunate of course, since I came to this international racing scene with my European heritage which somehow clashed with the intentions of Asia Tech. I will remember my times at Team Asia Tech as great fun, immensely rich in experiences. Specifically, the equipment - top notch, the best in the business: superb car control, superb set-up, amazing speed, agility, great wins, great times, gracious in defeat and modest in winning. We won together, we lost together. Damn...that car looked fast even standing still and seen from behind. Definitely memories I will cherrish and treasure my entire life even though towards the end I had some disagreements with the Asia Tech management. Since then, I have stayed away from motorsports. I will eventually return to competition when I will find the right team. But for now, I have time to approach other interests and hobbies, focus on other tasks and spend more time with family and friends. I also have to mention here that in recent weeks, the management at Asia Tech has approached me in subtle ways, trying to perhaps make peace in the pitlane. Sadly, I have to say my time at Asia Tech is done and gone...I wish Asia Tech and its management the very best of luck in all their endeavors. I would much rather retire from racing altogether than go back and drive for Asia Tech again. Any other Asian team...yes, anytime, anywhere, in a heart beat. But not Asia Tech."
